The Calm and The Storm

Holy: mmmm, ooouuu,

(breath)

oooouuuuu, o! o! ooouuu

(breath)

Whole and complete.

(breath)

That which is Whole and complete seeks unification
with the limited and broken.
That which is Whole and complete journeys,
through brokeness to fullness.
It is the Journey of the Holy.
It is the Pattern of the Holy.

For the Holy Whole has indeed
expanded,
blossomed,
bloomed,
to make,
to be more than Whole.

Holiness is expanding and you, my Children are called,
called to the Expansion.
The Call is a yearning placed in you.

(breath)

Wholeness, my Children,
embraces complexity,
oppositions,
paradox.

The Wholeness embraces difference.

(breath)

Shall I tell you, the Storm makes you tremble.
The Storm lays you low.
The Storm darkens your vision.
The Storm sends flashes that terrify.
Shall I tell you, the Storm is Holy.
And after the Storm, is Creation not open wide
and calm, clean, receptive, new?

The Storm is the Presence of the Holy,
breaking into your days and nights.
It is a difficult shattering.
It is a fearsome blowing,
for the Holy comes to your days and nights
with a power beyond you.
And once you are touched,
once you have journeyed through the Storm
and have known the Presence of the Holy,
the fear becomes reverence.
The fear yields receptivity.

After the Storm, it is time
to see again, to live again,
to be again and anew,
to journey into the expansion of Creation,
to be one with the Spirit of Enfolding Wholeness.

For the Wholeness of the Holy unfolds continuously,
expands continuously.
It is a blossoming,
a turning out,
an opening.
Continual is it, continual, continual.
And when you have been through the Touch of the Almighty
shall you be receptive,
shall you be perceptive.

Yes. so, you come to a Calm,
I tell you, then, you carry the Storm within, do you not!
Have you not internalized the Storm,
The Presence of the Holy,
the Presence of the Almighty,
the Burning of the Flashing Fire?

Touched are you.
Touched are you and do not turn away,
but come headlong, face-forward into the Storm
and there the Holy surrounds you,
bathes you.
The Holy cleanses you.

For I tell you this,
the Flame within you is pure.
The Soul, the Heart of your selves is pure
and the Holy sees the purity.
the Holy draws out the purity
and your life is altered.
Your perception is clarified,.
Your words are deep and pure.
Your song is tuned.

The Lord brings out the purity that is you
and I tell you the purity does not come out
without its Storm.

Holy: It is the Holy Way.
The Holy draws the Purity.
That Purity comes to your days and to your nights
through fear and tribulation, which becomes reverence.
The transformation is occurring in all of you, towards purity.
The Purity is you.
The purity is Holy.
The Purity within shall be lived without.
It is a shining forth, a shining through.
So, when you feel the Storm within,
know that Purity is seeking to uncover.

But look at the world.
Look at the world in which you dwell.
How does Purity shine forth in and through you?
Such distractions surround you.
Such needs press upon you.
And does the Purity not come out with a Storm within you?
Do you not tremble to yield it?
And do the distractions not create a tension and friction?
It is not unlike a weather pattern, is it not?
The tensions and frictions of Creation.
Holiness breaks into Creation as a Storm
and your Purity shall emerge from you as a Storm,
as a Crack,
as a Churning.
But know ths, in the midst of the Storm
is the pureness of your Spirit.
So, respect the Storm, but seek the Pureness.
Respect the Storm, but seek the Stillness.

I will tell you something that will not surprise you.
There are those who love the Storm,
who wish to remain in the Storm.
It is an ecstasy, is it not?
A fearsome moment, but it is merely the transition.
Only the unwise remain in the transition continuously.
The wise know to love the transition for what comes after,
a new level of perception,
a new Stillness of Creation,
a new in-glowing of Purity,
a washing clean of intention.

You, my Children, have been through the Storms,
are living the Storms.
and I tell you, as your Glow increases,
the Storms decrease
and soon, you will know to walk
in the Presence of Holiness continually.
It is a Blessed Existence.
It is treasured.
It is beautiful.

Shall your very presence in a room
not bring with it a Glow of Holiness?

Nurture the Holiness within
and call the Holiness surrounding you to be present.
It is a calm place to exist continually in the opening,
in the clearness,
in the crisp Creation after the Storm.

And shall you not be shaken by the branches thrown down?
Shall you not be shaken by the leaves strewn about?
Shall you walk through the post-Storm world and see only Holiness?

You shall say: "What is destruction to the Holy?
What is devastation to the Holy?"
Come my people and see that the Lord G-d is among you.
live continually in the Calm
respect the Storm as the Transition
and not as the Stimulation.

So, this is a calm place, is it not? A peaceful place?

Chrisdog: a shelter

Holy: O, but look and you will see,
the shelter is an opening.
You are not shielded from Holiness.
You are opened to Holiness.
Does the landscape not lay open to the Lights of the Heavens,
in the Clearness after the Storm?
For the clouds pass over.
The wind blows.
The lightning flashes.

Respect the transition and seek the Calm opening of New Awareness.
So there are Storms before you, ahead of you.
There are transitions before you, ahead of you.
Yield to the Purity within,
for the Lord G-d has set a Flame within you.
You are created a Spark and you have allowed the Holy to blow.
You have seen and felt the Glow.
You have known the burning and flashing.

Kindle the Flame, for the Holy does so.
Your days, your moments are your kindling.
Give them to the Holy!
Your deeds, your thoughts are the kindling.
Give them to the Holy!
Your actions, yours words are the kindling.
Give them to the Holy!
Bring nothing to the Holy which is not coming
from intentions of Purity and Wholeness.

Feed the Flame, moment by moment,
word by word,
note by note,
step by step.

It is quite a challenge to live in such a Way.
Quite a challenge and difficult to sustain.
Treasure the moments you find it.
And I tell you, the moments will increase.
And you will find that the people so treasure the Holiness among them,
they shall honor it.
And a space is provided for Holiness and the people come to bathe.
And they feel the Storms around them and they feel the Flames within!
It is a Holy thing.
It is a Holy thing, this Pentacost moment.
A moment of great transformation,
enliving,
enlighting.

For the Spirit of G-d is sweeping,
is blowing,
is kindling.
